The Massachusetts Farm to School Network’s Education Working Group presents Farm to School Basics: A Webinar Series for Garden Educators in Mass., a five-part webinar series taking place throughout the spring. (Part 1/5)
Presenter: Hope Guardenier (Executive Director for School Sprouts)
This webinar is all about seeds! If you’re planting a school garden, your goals can really inform your seed choices. What kind of garden are you growing? When do you want to plant? Do you want to grow fruits and veggies? How about herbs or flowers? Hope Guardenier (School Sprouts) will walk you through resources to help you plan your school garden, choose the varieties of seeds that will work best for your area and planting schedule, and discuss options for obtaining seeds, such as seed saving, donations, or ordering.
