Farm to School Month: Virtual Exhibit

Who Makes Up Our Farm to School Community?

A Tour of Farm to School

When you think of Farm to School, what comes to mind? Some think of farmers and crops, others think of school gardens or classroom connections, while others might focus on school cafeterias that offer nourishing meals using ingredients procured from local farms. We have created a virtual farm tour to highlight the four areas of Farm to School: farms and fisheries, food distribution, cafeterias, and classrooms and to show that there is an essential connection and interdependence between these four areas. Please explore the map below to learn more about some of the different members of our farm to school community. We hope to add to this map over time, so if you have a story you’d like to share, please get in touch!
