Roasted Squash Seeds

Roasted Winter Squash Seeds

When we think of roasted seeds, our first thought is pumpkin, but have you tried other winter squash seeds instead?

  1. Select a winter squash (acorn, butternut, spaghetti, honey nut…).
  2. Cut squash in half and scoop out seeds.
  3. Rinse seeds to remove pulp.
  4. Lay seeds on towel and pat dry.
  5. Toss seeds in olive oil, salt, and any spices you like.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and roast at 300°F for 20-25 minutes.

Consider doing a taste test with several types of squash seeds!
